Roy Nagatoshi to visit from California
Bonsai master Roy Nagatoshi will be our guest at the May 1 general meeting. He first visited us in 1997, and then in June 2001 to help celebrate our 30th anniversary at the Arboretum. He chose a number of display trees from that show on the weekend and did an informal critique for our meeting.

Roy is the proprietor of the Fuji Bonsai Nursery in Sylmar, CA, holds a degree in ornamental horticulture, and is a licensed landscape contractor. He studied with the late, revered John Y. Naka and since 1976 has taught widely on tours in the U.S. and around the world.

ROY WILL BE DOING A CRITIQUE OF ABOUT A DOZEN BONSAI TREES FROM CLUB MEMBERS.
The next issue of your newsletter will be ready for viewing about 9 days before the general meeting (May 27). It will be at: www.minnesotabonsai.com/jun07

Remember to come before 7:00 to check out the spring offerings from the vendors, visit the library and raffle table, and to get your favorite seat for the presentation.

Business meeting and announcements start at 7:00 and the program at 7:30. Social time will follow. We ask that vendors and members be quiet and considerate during the presentation.
OUR NEW LOOK
Board member Ken Ellis came up with the idea to put the Page Index and Activities at the top of this opening page, to make it faster and easier to access instead of having to page down every time.  Great suggestion, Ken!
