| May 1 Meeting Members brought in about half a dozen trees for Roy's commentary, including the large old Chinese Elm and the Schefflera clump style shown below. For the second part of the program, Roy finished styling a large Shimpaku (Chinese Juniper) of Glenda's that the two of them had started in the weekend workshops. It now has lots of jinned branches, nicely tapered trunk and properly placed "clouds" of foliage, and should mature into a stunning bonsai in short order. |
