Show up on Tuesday, July 5th by 7:30 PM for a lively discussion of the tropical species used for bonsai - but first, the proposed revision of the club's constitution and by-laws will be presented for member discussion and voting. (See Proposed Changes below.) Then
program chairman Glenda Jungquist has planned what she calls a sharing/ discussion, with our own Jim Trenter to lead the proceedings. Jim has often led the "Class Of xxxx" sessions that focused on tropicals.
You might want to prepare by making a few notes of topics you'd like to ask about; take a look at your own indoor-type bonsai to give you some ideas - or page through any books you have at home on the subject of tropical varieties. Remember, it takes at least two persons to have a "discussion." We don't want Jim to have to carry the ball by himself!
If you have one or more trees you'd like to bring, for questions, sharing, discussion - give Glenda a call (or email). She'd like an idea of how many trees will be coming, if possible, so there can be tables set up in a handy spot for Jim to talk about them.
