If you are interested in assembling a formal display of trees, accent plants, etc. in one of these Tokonomas, please contact Larry Oreschnick at larryo@frontiernet.net to put your name on a list. If there are more than 6 people interested in a formal tokonoma display at the August meeting, a drawing will be held to assign the Tokonomas at that time. If you need further information on the size of the Tokonomas, general construction, etc. contact Tim Mathwig at tim_mathwig@juno.com. " No other Tokonomas than the above will be allowed in the display. Here are the categories for this year's show - the judge will be bonsai artist Guy Guidry. COLLECTED TREES - FOREST STYLE TROPICAL VARIETIES - LITERATI (OR BUNJIN) STYLE MAPLES - FRUITING OR FLOWERING TREES (and OTHER for everything else) There is also a Shohin tree category with a Best Shohin in Show trophy.
