| Tour from 10:00-1:00 PM - Hudson, WI home of Cheryl Sykora and Bill Welbes. Cheryl says everyone is welcome to come and view her bonsai trees and winter storage building -- as long as they don't examine the rest of her yard! Directions: Go East from the Twin Cities on I-94 to Hudson, Wisconsin (17 miles from downtown St. Paul), then go up the long hill to Exit #2 Carmichael Rd., then left (north) on Carmichael for 2.4 miles. Here you join Co. Rd. A and follow as it curves to the right. Another 4/10 mile brings you to 499 Co. Rd. A. View Yahoo Map Tour from 10:00-1:00 PM - Stillwater home of Van & Jeannie Jensen: Here you'll find finished, mature bonsai in a beautiful garden setting with a spectacular water feature, and even a swimming pool to admire. Directions: The Jensens live in Stillwater. Take Hwy. 36 east of St. Paul to Hwy. 15 (Manning Rd.) - go North on #15 about 4 miles to Co. Rd. 12 (75th Street). Turn right, go about 1 mile to Northland, then right on Northland to the stop sign. Turn right on Interlachen (72nd St.) to Tamarack Court, left to 129 Tamarack Ct. View Yahoo Map Tour and Picnic from 12:00-4:00 PM at the Hampels' home just north of White Bear Lake - over 2 acres of manicured gardens, multiple koi ponds, and starring mature bonsai specimens. Bring along your favorite appetizer, salad, hotdish, chips or dessert to share at the potluck picnic. Bring your own chair - plenty of shady spots to sit and view while you visit and eat. Directions: From I-694 and 35E north of St. Paul, follow I-35E north toward Duluth to exit #117 Co. Hwy 96 - go 1.8 mi. east to stoplight at Hwy. #61, turn left and go 2.9 mi. north on 61, then turn left at 120th St N.
