Club (Master) Workshops
Club Workshops (sometimes called Master Workshops) are held on a Spring weekend and again in Fall during the State Fair, to coincide with visits by the teachers (masters) that come here for workshops and to give a presentation or demonstration at the general meeting.

Workshops are split between morning sessions and afternoon sessions and are held at Como Conservatory education facilities in the new Visitors Center. The cost varies and the number of participants is limited -- or you may attend as a silent observer for a small fee. These workshops are for
club members only, and students bring their own tools and materials. Sometimes the raw tree material is supplied at extra cost.

Club Workshops provide a rare opportunity to work with a knowledgable "bonsai master." The teachers that the Board selects have broad and varied experience, and often have studied in Japan, China, or Europe. Each master brings with them a unique perspective that deepens our understanding of this ancient art. The advanced techniques and experience that may be gained by such an opportunity should not be missed.
