2nd U.S. National Bonsai Exhibition
JUNE 12-13, 2010  -  Rochester, NY

The 1st U.S. National Bonsai Exhibition in October 2008 received excellent reviews from
around the world.  Now, Americans are submitting photos of their best bonsai for the
selection process, to display in this exhibition. Sponsors and supporters from around the
world are helping to stage the enlarged event.

The venue will be the Monroe Community Hospital on a 22-acre park-like campus bordering the
historic Erie Canal in Rochester. The auditorium also hosts the Upstate New York Bonsai Exhibitions
because of its location, size, high ceilings, easy access and friendly staff -- and ample free parking
for the National Exhibition.
DAILY ADMISSION $15, or Weekend Pass for $20 before June 1st.
Awards Banquet by advance reservation only, $30.

Cash awards will be presented for:
Finest Bonsai Masterpiece, Finest Evergreen Bonsai, Finest Deciduous Bonsai, Finest Classical Bonsai,
Finest Bonsai & Container Combination, Finest Creative Western Formal Display, Finest Shohin
Bonsai Display, and Finest North American Native Species Bonsai.

IF YOU HAVE A BONSAI you would like considered for the exhibition and inclusion in the
Commemorative Exhibition Album, send a current photo by mail or email for the selection process to
Wm. N. Valavanis by APRIL 15, 2010. The entry free of $50 per bonsai or shohin bonsai
composition will be due when your bonsai is accepted for display.
Limited assistance is available for safely transporting your bonsai to and from distant areas.
